Swell is 3 foot and the wind is west northwesterly onshore, force 5, gusting to 7. Just a regular wind, not the storm event hyped by TV forecasters over the past few days. Speaking of storms, tomorrow, 16 September, is Harvest Fair Day in Ballyshannon and the 52nd anniversary of Hurricane Debbie, Ireland's worst ever hurricane. Read about it here.
