Today is Rossnowlagh's busiest day of the year as the Donegal Twelfth of July takes place here. The finest marching bands from Donegal and the North will parade along a mile long route. Great music and drums and splendid Ulster tradition. Well worth a visit if you haven't experienced a Twelfth..

However, do take note that the tide is rising from 11.29am until 6.00pm. If you park your car on the beach, make sure you come back to it in good time, before the sea covers it up.
