Finally, the computer predictions haven't included Rossnowlagh in the great storm that is likely to hit southern UK tomorrow but talk of the storms of the late 1980s reminded me of Barry Britton's 1988 Intercounties poster celebrating the great storm of 9 February 1988, when waves were breaking on the landward side of the Sandhouse Hotel.
